The ACP Max device is a closed, buffy-coat system used to facilitate the safe and rapid preparation of autologous PRP from a sample of the patient's own blood.
Interest in the use of autologous blood products in various orthopedic sites has been on the rise. PRP can be used at the point of care for treatment of osteoarthritis or mixed with autograft or allograft bone prior to application, among other uses deemed necessary by the clinical requirements.
