The TPLO locking plate was designed through extensive research and development and has key features that allow for easy and reproducible positioning. Developed with the surgeon in mind, the plates have guidewire placement and laser lines for precise positioning, a caudal tilt ideal for screw purchase, and a proximal screw trajectory tailored to help avoid osteotomy. Additionally, more efficient OR times are possible due to minimal contouring required from surgeons and staff.
The plate can be used in conjunction with the InternalBraceTM ligament augmentation procedure for knotless, antirotational lateral stability in dogs with severe instability.
