OrthoLine™ Fracture System
OrthoLine™ Fracture System
The OrthoLine fracture management system allows the surgeon to perform a fracture repair with the same screws used in the TPLO System. The 99-plate, state-of-the-art fracture line includes sizes 1.6 mm, 1.6 mm broad, 2.0 mm, 2.4 mm, 3.0 mm, and 3.5 mm for straight and T-style plates and 3.5 mm broad straight plates for both feline and canine patients.
Designed with the surgeon in mind, the plates have many features to help create a more reproducible procedure. The locking straight plates include a slide hole, which allows slight movement across the fracture line to facilitate the best plate placement. The low-profile design reduces prominence under the skin and features, limiting bone-to-plate contact. Plate size and length were specifically designed to include hole-to-hole spacing.
Tight screw density on the distal and proximal ends with larger bridges near the center of the plate allows surgeons to fit more screws in the same footprint than competitive plates. Additional features designed to aid in proper plate placement include K-wire holes, variable-angle locking screws for the titanium lines, slide holes, and compression holes. OrthoLine plates can be contoured using size-specific bending irons and cannulated bending plugs, which can also function as K-wire holes in any locking screw hole.
In addition to the new OrthoLine fracture plates, the fracture management system includes a variety of screw options, including fully threaded headless compression screws, partially threaded screws, cannulated lag screws, low-profile screws, KreuLock™ locking compression screws, and QuickFix™ cannulated screws.
• Accommodates high screw density where needed
• Slide and compression holes
• Strong plate for bridging
• Low plate contact and low profile
• Color coded for easier identification
• K-wire holes
• Cortical/locking/variable-angle locking screws
• Indicated for sizes from small cats to large dogs
OrthoLine™ Acetabular Fracture System
OrthoLine™ Acetabular Fracture System
The OrthoLine acetabular fracture plating system, part of the OrthoLine plating system, includes an extended‑length locking drill guide for hard‑to‑reach anatomy. Each veterinary plate is anatomically contoured to mimic the anatomy of patients within a given size range, including 1.6 mm, 2.0 mm, 2.4 mm (short and standard), and 3.0 mm (standard and broad). Screw trajectories are optimized to maximize bone purchase throughout the cranial, central, and caudal regions of the acetabulum while improving screw pullout strength. These trajectories differ from most veterinary orthopedic plates, which typically use perpendicular screw holes only. Each screw hole also features a hood that aids thread purchase and helps reduce soft‑tissue irritation.
As with all products in the OrthoLine plating system, users have the option to use cortical, locking, and variable‑angle locking screws. OrthoLine acetabular plates also include K‑wire holes for provisional fixation, suture holes for prosthetic capsulorrhaphy, and an iliofemoral suture hole, offering versatility within a comprehensive veterinary fracture plate system.

Key Features:

• Anatomically precontoured plates reduce operative time
• Defined screw trajectories maximize bone purchase and minimize pullout
• Dedicated suture holes aide in soft-tissue management and closure
• Hooded screw holes increase thread engagement and minimize soft-tissue irritation
• Extended locking drill guide for hard-to-reach anatomy
Compression PT Screw System
Compression PT Screw System
2.5 and 3.0 mm Headless Compression PT Screws
The 2.5 mm and 3.0 mm titanium Headless Compression PT screws can be used for fixation of osteotomies, fusion, or fracture fixation in the foot/ankle, hand/wrist, and elbow. The screws provide compression due to different thread pitches at the head of the screw and at the distal thread of the screw. A hexalobe recess provides improved torque transmission and allows for simplified insertion. For Weil osteotomies, 2.0 mm snap-off QuickFix™ screws are included in the 2.5 mm and 3.0 mm Headless Compression PT Screw System (AR-8610S-01), completing a comprehensive solution for the forefoot.
Features of 2.5 and 3.0 mm Headless Compression PT screws:
• Headless design
• Self-drilling and self-tapping
• Hexalobe drive (2.5 mm = T7; 3.0 mm = T8)
• Cannulated
• Titanium
• Color-coded instruments
• Short and long guidewires (80 mm or 120 mm) available
• Distal thread lengths = ⅓ of overall screw length
• Lengths of 2.5 mm screws: 8 mm to 34 mm
• Lengths of 3.0 mm screws: 10 mm to 36 mm
4.3 and 6.5 mm Headless Compression PT Screws
The 4.3 mm and 6.5 mm titanium Headless Compression PT screws can be used for the fixation of osteotomies, fusions, or fracture fixation in the mid- and hindfoot. The headless design helps reduce the risk of profile complications, provide compression, and allow for simplified insertion.
Features of 4.3 and 6.5 mm Headless Compression PT screws:
• Headless design
• Self-drilling and self-tapping
• Hexalobe drive (4.3 mm = T15; 6.5 mm = T25)
• Cannulated
• Titanium
• Color-coded instruments
• Guidewires: 1.35 mm x 170 mm (4.3 mm screws)
2.4 mm x 170 mm (6.5 mm screws)
• 4.3 mm screws: distal thread length = ⅓ of overall screw length
• Lengths of 4.3 mm screws: 14 mm to 50 mm (x2)
55 mm to 80 mm (x5)
• Lengths of 6.5 mm screws: 30 mm to 120 mm (x5) (18 mm Short Thread)
60 mm to 120 mm (x5) (28 mm Long Thread)
