A smaller version of the popular TPLO plates, the 1.6 mm TPLO locking plates are specifically designed for small-breed bone anatomy. Additionally, this plate has key features that make plate placement easier and more consistent.
&nbsp;
The 1.6 mm plates offer a knotless, antirotational lateral stabilization with the&nbsp;InternalBrace™ procedure to support the primary repair for dogs with severe stifle instability.

1.6 mm TPLO Plates and Screws

The Arthrex Vet MPL plates follow the same anatomic engineering aspects of the Tibial Plateau Leveling Osteotomy (TPLO) Plating System with additional features to address medial patella luxation.&nbsp; The MPL plate includes a step to offset the fragment from the long bone of the tibia creating medial tibial plateau translation and a locking screw distal to the cut protecting the osteotomy.&nbsp; The plates are also designed to have proximal and distal locking holes to be less prominent under the skin. Proximal screw holes with specific trajectories within the proximal fragment. The distal end has limited bone contact and is designed with two k-wire holes to aid in positioning, the plates are also contoured to the bone, marked with a laser line for optimal positioning and step location. Additionally, the plates include a suture hole proximally for the application of an InternalBrace™ ligament augmentation, providing rotational stability. Finally, the distal end of the plate incorporates VetSuture holes on the cranial aspect to aid in soft tissue closure.&nbsp; The Arthrex Vet MPL Plating System has been created by veterinarians for veterinarians making a more reproducible procedure for happier and healthier patients.&nbsp; 
 
Size range includes 1.6 mm, 2.0 mm, 2.4 mm, 2.7 mm, 3.0 mm, 3.5 mm small, 3.5 mm standard, and 3.5 mm broad in left and right options.

OrthoLine™ Medial Patella Luxation (MPL) System

The OrthoLine fracture management system allows the surgeon to perform a fracture repair with the same screws used in the TPLO System. The 99-plate, state-of-the-art fracture line includes sizes 1.6 mm, 1.6 mm broad, 2.0 mm, 2.4 mm, 3.0 mm, and 3.5 mm for straight and T-style plates and 3.5 mm broad straight plates for both feline and canine patients.
Designed with the surgeon in mind, the plates have many features to help create a more reproducible procedure. The locking straight plates include a slide hole, which allows slight movement across the fracture line to facilitate the best plate placement. The low-profile design reduces prominence under the skin and features, limiting bone-to-plate contact. Plate size and length were specifically designed to include hole-to-hole spacing.
Tight screw density on the distal and proximal ends with larger bridges near the center of the plate allows surgeons to fit more screws in the same footprint than competitive plates. Additional features designed to aid in proper plate placement include K-wire holes, variable-angle locking screws for the titanium lines, slide holes, and compression holes. OrthoLine plates can be contoured using size-specific bending irons and cannulated bending plugs, which can also function as K-wire holes in any locking screw hole.
In addition to the new OrthoLine fracture plates, the fracture management system includes a variety of screw options, including fully threaded headless compression screws, partially threaded screws, cannulated lag screws, low-profile screws, KreuLock™ locking compression screws, and QuickFix™ cannulated screws.

OrthoLine™ Distal Femur Osteotomy System

The OrthoLine radial fracture plate system includes 1.6 mm, 1.6 mm broad, 2.0 mm, 2.4 mm, 3.0 mm, and 3.5 mm sizes. Each plate is anatomically contoured to mimic the anatomy of patients within a given size range. The system features multiplanar distal screw trajectories and centrally aligned proximal screws to improve screw pullout. The plates are thinner than standard T-plates or straight plates, minimizing soft-tissue interference. The tubular bottom enhances conformity to the patient’s bone structure and increases the area moment of inertia. Additionally, the unique design includes bending plugs, multiple K-wire holes for preliminary placement, and a fracture-spanning bridge with a compression screw hole that provides compression across the fracture site while sparing the abductor pollicis longus tendon in a cranial-medial placement. While the plates are primarily designed for cranial-medial placement, they can also be used for for cranial-lateral placement with the contralateral side plate.

OrthoLine™ Radial Fracture System

The cuttable straight plates are designed to offer multiple options and applications for veterinary orthopedic surgery. Each plate features three tight hole-to-hole spacings on either end, followed by a bridge on one side and a transition hole. Additionally, there is another set of three tight hole-to-hole spacings on the side with the bridge. The central hole spacing is larger, allowing for in-plane bending of approximately 7° to 8° before deformation of the screw hole occurs. This design provides flexibility and precision in various surgical scenarios.&nbsp;
 
The cuttable T-plates are designed to be placed in a juxta-articular fashion and cut to size. The design includes a 3-hole T on one side and a 2-hole T on the opposite side, following a bridge design with uniform hole-to-hole spacing throughout centrally. The central hole spacing allows for in-plane bending of up to 7° to 8°. This design ensures adaptability and precise placement in complex orthopedic procedures.

OrthoLine™ Cuttable Plate System

The OrthoLine distal humeral fracture system is the first plate of its kind to incorporate a transcondylar screw for distal humeral medial, supracondylar, Y-shaped, and T-shaped fractures.
 
Designed with the surgeon in mind, OrthoLine distal humeral plates are anatomic, incorporating the transcondylar screw within the construct and including specific trajectory to help with proper transcondylar screw placement. Screws are compatible across the OrthoLine plate line and with the Arthrex TPLO system. Products are available in sizes 1.6 mm/2.0 mm, 2.4 mm, 3.0 mm, and 3.5 mm plates for both feline and canine patients.
 
Repair medial, supracondylar, Y-shaped, and T-shaped fractures with a single plate construct using a K-wire on the lateral aspect for Y-shaped and T-shaped fractures when placing the plate medially. The epicondylar oval hole helps the surgeon find the right location to facilitate the best plate placement and allows relief for the epicondyle.

OrthoLine™ Distal Humeral Fracture System

The OrthoLine femur fracture system includes two innovative anatomic femur designs. The proximal femur plate and distal femur plate systems were designed with surgeon input and key engineering features. Specific to small animal patients, the state-of-the-art plating line includes several key features.

The OrthoLine ilial fracture plate system includes sizes of 1.6 mm, 2.0 mm, 2.4 mm, 3.0 mm, 3.5mm, and an extended 3.5 mm plate for larger dogs. Each plate is anatomically contoured to mimic the anatomy of patients within a given size range. The plates feature cranial divergent screw trajectories to improve purchase in the cranial ilium. The caudal screw trajectories are more dorsally oriented to avoid the coxofemoral joint.&nbsp; Additionally, the ilial plate includes a suture hole paired with Arthrex VetSuture for apposition of the gluteal musculature at closure.&nbsp;
