The Arthrex Vet MPL plates follow the same anatomic engineering aspects of the Tibial Plateau Leveling Osteotomy (TPLO) Plating System with additional features to address medial patella luxation.&nbsp; The MPL plate includes a step to offset the fragment from the long bone of the tibia creating medial tibial plateau translation and a locking screw distal to the cut protecting the osteotomy.&nbsp; The plates are also designed to have proximal and distal locking holes to be less prominent under the skin. Proximal screw holes with specific trajectories within the proximal fragment. The distal end has limited bone contact and is designed with two k-wire holes to aid in positioning, the plates are also contoured to the bone, marked with a laser line for optimal positioning and step location. Additionally, the plates include a suture hole proximally for the application of an InternalBrace™ ligament augmentation, providing rotational stability. Finally, the distal end of the plate incorporates VetSuture holes on the cranial aspect to aid in soft tissue closure.&nbsp; The Arthrex Vet MPL Plating System has been created by veterinarians for veterinarians making a more reproducible procedure for happier and healthier patients.&nbsp; 
 
Size range includes 1.6 mm, 2.0 mm, 2.4 mm, 2.7 mm, 3.0 mm, 3.5 mm small, 3.5 mm standard, and 3.5 mm broad in left and right options.

El sistema de manejo de fracturas OrthoLine permite a los cirujanos realizar reducción de fractura con los mismos tornillos que se utilizan en el sistema TPLO. La línea de fracturas de vanguardia con 70 placas incluye tamaños de 1,6 mm, 1,6 mm de ancho, 2,0 mm, 2,4 mm, 3,0 mm y 3,5 mm para platas rectas y en T y placas rectas de 3,5 mm de ancho para pacientes caninos y felinos.
Diseñadas pensando en el cirujano, las placas tienen varias características que ayudan a crear un procedimiento más reproducible: las placas rectas de bloqueo incluyen un orificio deslizante que permite un leve movimiento en la línea de fractura para lograr la mejor colocación de la placa. El diseño de bajo perfil reduce la prominencia debajo de la piel y limita el contacto entre la placa y el hueso. El tamaño y la longitud de la placa se diseñaron específicamente para incluir un espacio entre orificios.

OrthoLine™ Distal Femur Osteotomy System

The Arthrex OrthoLine™ radial fracture plate system includes 1.6 mm, 2.0 mm, 2.4 mm, 3.0 mm, and 3.5 mm sizes. Each plate is anatomically contoured to mimic the anatomy of patients within a given size range. The system is designed with multiplanar distal screw trajectories and proximal screws centrally aligned within the bone to improve screw pullout. The plates are thinner than a standard T-plate or straight plate, providing less soft tissue interference. The tubular bottom enables better conformity to the patient’s bone structure and increases the area moment of inertia. This unique design also includes a fracture-spanning bridge with a compression screw hole providing compression across the fracture site, bending plugs, and several k-wire holes to assist in preliminary placement. The plates are designed for a cranial-medial placement, but a cranial-lateral placement can be used with the contralateral side plate.

OrthoLine™ Femur Fracture System

Kirschner wires, or K-wires, are used for temporary fixation during some orthopedic operations. After definitive fixation, they should be removed.
 
Use K-wires to:
